AP Calculus, AP Statistics, College Math and More
Ongoing and Upcoming Live Sessions
AP Calculus BC (Dr. Xue), 60-90 min Pre-recorded Video Lecture + Saturdays 6:30–8 pm CST or Sundays 11 am–12:30 pm CST, Jan–May, 2025. 18 lessons, $70/lesson. More Info | Syllabus | Enroll | Self-Paced
Course Structure
All live online classes include pre-class materials, such as pre-recorded videos, lecture notes, reading assignments, and practice problems, followed by interactive live sessions via Zoom or Google Meet. The live sessions focus on student questions, further explanations of key concepts, and more complicated problems.
Students are expected to:
Thoroughly review the pre-class materials, complete the assigned homework, and submit any questions before the live session.
Review the content after each lecture to reinforce learning and deepen their understanding.
Learn more about the benefits of using pre-class recordings and post-lecture review.
AP Calculus AB/BC
This course prepares students for the May AP Calculus AB/BC exams.
Instructor: Dr. Xue
Tuition: $70 per week. 32 weeks. Pay Monthly.
Single Variable Calculus
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to single-variable calculus. Topics covered include limits, continuity, derivatives and their applications, definite and indefinite integrals, applications of integrals, basic differential equations, infinite sequences and series, plane curves, and polar coordinates.
Towards the end of the course, students will have the option to choose between exam preparation sessions or course projects. For course projects, students will have the opportunity to explore the application of differentiation and integration in real-world problems in depth. These projects are derived from Dr. Xue’s past course materials when she taught Calculus at Ohio State University, and they are designed to be fun and engaging.
The course content may extend beyond the minimum requirements for the AP Calculus AB, BC exams, with an emphasis on developing a solid and intuitive understanding of fundamental concepts and methods. Based on our experience, students who engage with material beyond the minimum tend to perform better on the AP exams, and they also have a more enjoyable learning experience.
