Competition Math
Our year-round training programs for competition math combine the strengths of three different curricula commonly used in the US and China. All classes are kept small to ensure students receive individual attention. We recommend enrolling your child in live classes if possible ($25–$40 per hour). If there are schedule conflicts, you can either subscribe for self-paced recordings ($20–$25 per hour, mainly pre-recorded video lectures), or arrange personalized coaching sessions ($35 for AMC 8, $45 for AMC 10, $50 for AMC 12 and AIME). If your child has questions about the recordings or needs more individualized guidance, you can schedule supplementary private lessons.
Some of our advanced student teachers are available for private AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS, and AMC 10 Beginner lessons at a rate of $40-$50 per hour. For all other needs, Dr. Xue is available to help.

Through diagnostic assessments, personalized study plans, and targeted lessons, students build a solid foundation in fundamental concepts while developing effective test-taking strategies. Regular progress tracking and full-length practice tests ensure students feel well-prepared and confident on test day. Typically, the program lasts 6 to 8 weeks and meets twice a week, though this may vary based on the student’s academic background. For very advanced students, one or two consultation sessions may suffice, while others may require additional lessons to achieve their desired results.

Mason Mom, MI, Pre-Algebra
“Your private lessons feel very well-organized, unrushed, without a single minute wasted. Mason mentioned that he would feel guilty if he had to take a restroom break. It is very impressive.”
McKinley Mom, NJ, Precalculus
“My kiddo has had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Xue. She makes difficult topics easy to understand.”
Jake Mom, MN, AP Calculus AB
