Policies and Expectations
-
As a member of our school, you are expected to adhere to the following rules when participating in our online classes, camps, club activities, social media groups, and when interacting with other school members in any capacity:
Be Kind and Courteous
Treat all members with respect. Healthy debates are encouraged, but kindness is mandatory. Give more than you take and be considerate of others’ needs and feelings. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated. Refrain from begging for free advice or services.
No Hate Speech or Bullying
Ensure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is prohibited, and comments degrading others based on race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity are not tolerated.
No Religious or Political Discussions
To maintain a positive and inclusive environment, discussions on religious or political topics are not permitted.
No Promotions, Spam, or Recruiting
Do not post advertisements, spam, or irrelevant links in our social media groups without Dr. Xue’s explicit permission. Recruiting for groups, pages, causes, sites, services, or events is not allowed without prior approval from Dr. Xue. Discussions should focus on math, science, teaching, and learning.
Respect Everyone’s Privacy
Maintain mutual trust within our school. Sensitive or private discussions should remain confidential.
No Unauthorized Sharing of Paid Course Materials
Our recordings and notes are for the exclusive use of students who have registered for them and typically expire in one year. Sharing with anyone else violates this agreement. Please limit sharing to a maximum of 20 minutes of recording or 5 pages of notes. Direct any interested individuals to us for access.
Timely Payment
Payments for classes, materials, and other school activities must be made on time and in full. Payment for lessons is required before the start of each session. A late fee of $30 may be applied if payment is not received in advance.
All our student teachers work as contractors for our school, and we prepare tax forms for them at the end of each calendar year. If your child is taking classes with us, you are required to send all payments to Dr. Xue's Math School LLC. Discussing payment arrangements directly with student teachers is strictly prohibited.
Healthy Communications
All members are expected to respond to messages and emails within 48 hours. It is important to maintain respectful communication, and not replying to a teacher is considered impolite.
You will receive a reminder if you violate any of these rules. Failure to address the concern within 72 hours of the reminder may result in the termination of all your school activities, and any school credit will be voided.
We reserve the right to update these rules as needed.
