Fundamental Math

If your child needs regular homework help for math below Algebra 2 and Precalculus, we recommend private tutoring with one of our student teachers at a rate of $30 to $40 per hour. Dr. Xue provides training and support to all student teachers to ensure the success of our tutoring program.

Rates:

Feel free to schedule your first lesson. Prior approval is required for follow-up lessons. New students can use this option to get a head start on their learning before committing to small-group classes or individualized educational programs. Current students can use this option to ask questions related to their live or self-paced classes.

The package includes one 45-min live lecture per week and unlimited access to video lectures. Homeschooled students often find this helpful. Please contact us to set up your weekly plan.

Systematic SAT and ACT Prep

Dr. Xue's SAT and ACT preparation program offers a comprehensive, customized approach tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Through diagnostic assessments, personalized study plans, and targeted lessons, students build a solid foundation in fundamental concepts while developing effective test-taking strategies. Regular progress tracking and full-length practice tests ensure students feel well-prepared and confident on test day. Typically, the program lasts 6 to 8 weeks and meets twice a week, though this may vary based on the student’s academic background. For very advanced students, one or two consultation sessions may suffice, while others may require additional lessons to achieve their desired results.

• Rate: $150/hour (All materials are included.)

Currently, Dr. Xue is solely responsible for this service. She plans to train advanced student teachers to co-teach these classes, making them more affordable for prospective students. In the new arrangement, Dr. Xue will meet with each student once a week or every other week, while the student teacher manages the rest. The student teachers’ rate will be around $40 per hour, and a $50 administration fee will apply.

Competition Math

Our year-round training program for competitive math combines the strengths of three different curricula commonly used in the US and China. All classes are kept small to ensure students receive individual attention. We recommend enrolling your child in live classes if possible ($30–$40 per hour), or registering for self-paced recordings ($20–$25 per hour) if there are scheduling conflicts. If your child has questions about the recordings or needs more targeted, individualized guidance, you can schedule supplementary private lessons.

Some of our student teachers are AIME qualified and available for private AMC 8 and MathCounts lessons at a rate of $40-$50 per hour. Otherwise, Dr. Xue is available to address all your needs.
